Welcome! Over on Simon's "Apparelyzed" site there is an excellent site on Bafoflen pumps. I may be wrong on this but from reading the posts at the time I am sure Simon has one. So, look for his posting and email him and he may be able to help.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

Hmm, unfortunatly, I have a Supra Pubic catheter, so haven't come accross this problem before, but I have a few questions.

How long have you had the pump?

Which pump do you have, Battery or Gas powered?

Are your spasms completely dead?

Are you on continuous drug delivery, or bolus delivery.

of course it could just be coincidence that you are having problems with the bladder in relation to the Baclofen pump. How long have you been taking Oxybutynin?

When was your last cystoscopy to check for bladder stones?

Increasing you Oxybutynin may help, as it reduces bladder spasms. There is another drug which does the same thing called Detrusitol in the UK (Generic is Tolterodine).

Regards

Simon.
