OK, here is a report on my tyres. I have had them a while and whilst a very hard compound they certainly have some grip so no problem climbing kerbs on a wet day. of course it is early days but not 'accidental deflations' (don't want to mention the word

) so, like I said very good.
There is a small downside which might not affect everyone - hands. now I spend time in the kitchen everyday preparing meals or the family, washing up and washing too and I find that many of these jobs involve moving in the kitchen with just one hand, the left had. the best grip is on the tyres so I push with hand on tyre and rim together. This is, however starting to rip some of the hard skin from the thumb side of my palm where roughness is caused by doing this on slicks. it is quite sore at the moment. I had better watch my technique. Leather protective gloves solve it mut one cannot cook in them.
Oh, I am hoping this is true but I have seen people making the tyres last past the year. I can wreck slicks in 3 months - too much drifting I think!
