  Hello everyone  Cheesy
My name is Craig and I am a C4 & 5 incomplete dude. I posted my story a couple of years ago but i don't think it's on here anymore, so i'll give ya'll a quick summary, mmm-k. I was on a 5th floor balcony and tried to sit on the edge and fell off, smart move yaaaah? I was left with an incomplete fracture of the C4 & 5 verts and a compound fracture of my right humorous...ouch  tard that was about 2 and a half years ago. Through many, many months of therapy and of course the support from family and friends I am walking with a cane and ankle/foot brace and slowly getting hand and arm function back in my right arm.   Smiley   Thats about it, if any of ya'll have any questions or comments feel free to ask, I'm not totally sure how this site works, but I bet Andy can help   Wink

Craig,

Hope you are still out here, 2 1/2 years, it sounds like you have been very busy and working hard on your recovery.  It is always so good the hear when someone is able to walk again and get use back.

My son is 2 years post T9 & 10 with no progress in walking again, I am always so happy when someone does as good as you.

Welcome Walt.

You'll find friendship, info and compassion on this site.

Don't apologise for being a year in from your accident and still having difficulty dealing with it. Acceptance is the very last part of anything. I am 19 years from one accident and 2 from another and I STILL have not accepted. I find a way to live and adapt. Just do what is best for you.

Are you complete/incomplete - a quad or a para?

I am incomplete paraplegic with damage to the cauda equina nerve system. So, whilst I am still disabled, my cord is intact which makes it hard to explain to doctors, etc.

Craig-
Congrats on your progress! Would you mind sharing what therapies were the most helpful for you?

thats a brave effort to be walking again so soon after such an horrific accident. Did you make a compensation claim against the hotel? Or were you entirely to blame?
Hey beeboi,

Unfortunately my fall was indeed my fault, so no compensation claims were filed.  Undecided
