OH DOCTOR I'M IN TROUBLE...

A mate of mine got a new wheelchair from Santa.

Not a very good picture but it has the normal 2 large wheels at the side plus one smaller wheel at the back. Imagine a baby buggy with the two wheels at the back and one at the front!

Now then, not a good picture but this gives you the idea.

I think it is great. Pretty neat to operate too.

Hi,

That chair is called the Trekinetic K2, there has been quite a discussion about it on my site, some like it, some don't.

Regards

I looked at that site before posting the pic Simon. However, this wheelchair that my mate has does not have the same seat. I think it must be a variation of it though. If I can get a better one I shall post it.

I have seen something SIMILAR being used by a guy in Milngavie town centre close to my hometown. It was the chair that drew my attention, not the guy as I later explained to him. He was an older man and could nip around the town centre faster than the guys in their standard chairs. Transferring from his car to the chair seemed easy too. Certainly this guy handled it very well. He actually looked more comfortable in his chair than I did in mine!!!!
