So the best bit - these tyres are made with a strip of Kevlar under the tread and thus resist punctures. I had several on the new chair with Primo tyres which was what caused me to change. I've pulled bits of staple and an odd drawing pin out of the new tyres but not a sign of a puncture.
Well, er, that's about it. I am highly impressed with these tyres and suggest others have a look. I certainly will be stayinf with them when they finally need changing.
I started using them back in Aug. 2009 and am in no hurry at all to switch to any other kind! I've run over broken glass without realizing it (I'm also blind, so can't always tell until it's too late) and, like you I've picked things out of my tires without getting a flat.
I've used Primos and Kenda tires and they don't even begin to compare to these! I made the switch because I was looking for a tire I could trust on gravel etc. and that had some thread, but not enough to pick up rocks that would scratch floors. They are the first tires that I feel confident enough with when traveling that I'm not wondering if I'm going to get a flat or not!
