Hi
Joined last week re advice for my father who has recenlty been diagnosed with a central spinal cord compression.  Once again his operation has been put off, the first time was for 3 weeks as he had MRSA and now the surgeons will not do anything because he has a chest infection.  This will be the third one he has had since being in hospital.  He has now been in for 7 weeks.

What I want to know is because of the length of time it is taking them to operate to relieve the pressure will it affect his chances of making a complete recovery.  As at the moment hes lost use of one arm and hand and his motor functions have gone in the other hand and has problems with his bowels.

Thanks
Michelle
