HI daddysgrl

Welcome to the forums Smiley sorry to hear of your dads injury and current situation, it sounds really bad for you all.  Unfortunately everything you describe are the effects of the spinal injury, a spinal injuries specialist should be able to alleviate the pain and spasms to some degree which in turn would lead to more mobility

are you seeing a specialist right now?

Hi Daddysgirl,

Where is Galesburg?  I am in Toledo, IL which is about 30 miles north of Effingham.  I have found a support group in Champagne, IL at the Carle Spine Institute and really helpful docs and nurses.  You can visit their website at www.carlespineinstitute.com

best of luck,

Nikki
