I was back in Sweden with backup in Jan '09 on a skiing trip . . . got to take a few runs in the half-pipe which was awesome  Grin Grin Grin Andy

Bet that was a blast Andy, looks real fun in the carts  - They got us on the half pipe a couple of years ago in winter park in the monoskis, I wasn't really up to it but it was probably more in my head than anything else. They're incredibly steep, that was what really blew me away. Maybe I'll get another go sometime.

Did you see the flight out to Winter Park that the Backup trip were due to fly out on yesterday was cancelled  Sad

I know someone who is holed up in their hotel waiting for that Back Up flight to Colorado to take off. They should just have put their skis on and made do with the snow here!

Latest news on this Back UP Ski-ing Trip.
It is cancelled.
My mate is back home - upset and angry.
His next chance to to go Colorado with Back Up - 2010!!!
He won't be there he says.

Other flights took off but their flight going via Philadelphia was cancelled and so was the trip.

He's spending the money he had saved on something else.

wow what rotten luck Sad  kind of ironic that the destination sees feet of snow every year and we close the uk after a few inches!!

poor guys and gals on the course I bet they are all very hacked off Sad
