Hi Mark,
I believe that there is a cure out there and it's only a matter of finding it. I have personally got in touch with at least three stem cell companies and got lots of literature back but the prices they are charging are astronomical.
It is worth looking into everything, and I think that we have to fight for ourselves, what may work for you, may not work for me and vice versa. All our spinal injuries are unique so we will all respond to treatments differently.I feel we are so close to a breakthrough. Only the other day I read that Botox was being used to treat s.c.i. - if that's true we would be the best looking group around. Keep your chin up. Smiley

I've got a feeling the first post is spam, as it follows a pattern for many posts in different forums advertising this facility.

Research is happening on a daily basis.
Did you see the article on the new and in the papers about the dye from the sweet M&M being able to cure spinally injured rats?

They took a blue food dye which is used to colour sweets, researched it and came up with a substance that if administered in the early hours of spinal injury can improve your chances of recovery. I would be all for that. I would rather walk with a limp than not walk at all.

Where I am working just now the research going on is phenomenal. It is fascinating to watch mice who have been damaged suddenly get up and walk.

So, I reckon that within a few years, there will be a dramatic reduction in the nummber of people wheelchair bound with paralysis. Unfortunately, the present research will not help people like me, however, I shall fight on to the end.
