Hi folks, haven't been on for some time now but my son has a problem for nearly a year now.  He is on a bowel programme of every 2 days and although he is paralysed from neck down he says he feels bloated/full all the time even after his programme has been done. He is also in constant pain.  He has been in hospital for investigations but nothing turned up. We are totally at a loss to understand what is going on. Some people have said to him "is it not in your head" but it is definitely not - he was very flushed in the face yesterday when I visited him and his quality of life has gone down a lot since he is pain all the time.  The doctors have flushed him out several times and there would be quite a bit there. Has anybody out there ever experienced anything like this? He is so miserable and grumpy these days, not at all like the young man who he was. We really need to find out what is going on.
