Hi Andy - hope this finds you well

Ages since our Week 13 trip to Are - 2006 I think. Loads has happened since then, including being made redundant from wine job. So I'm back writing adverts freelance for people. It's in connection with work that I'm in touch now.

I'm writing a promotion for Pedigree Petfoods for one of the Daily Telegraph's weekend supplements... and need to find a dog (and owner) for a case study. The product is Pedigree Jointcare Plus - which is a chew-style vitamin supplement, containing similar ingredients to those found in supplements aimed at humans who are suffering from stiff or aching joints (chondritin etc). The product is already on the market and is widely used, so should not be looked upon as medical "testing" of any kind. The idea is simply to see if it makes a difference and for the owner's experiences to inspire other dog owners to give it a try.

The dog should be a medium sized breed (or cross-breed), who is just starting to show his or her age - suspect the lovely Henry will be simply too fit! They are likely to be around 6 or 7 years old, but could be older or younger than this depending on their state of health. Symptoms might include stiffness when getting up after a nap - especially when preceded by exercise - starting to struggle when jumping into the back of the car or needing to take a rest when out for a walk or run.

The trial will provide a free six-week supply of Jointcare Plus chews, to be fed to the dog on a one-a-day basis. At the end of the trial the owner will be interviewed (by me) to see what they think of the product and to describe any differences in their dog's mobility. It's really not a big deal. Then in February both dog and owner would then need to be photographed for the accompanying article. Visit www.bringbackthebounce.co.uk and you'll see what I mean.

Here's hoping you can help - or know someone who might be interested. Needless to say I need to find a volunteer pretty quickly. Please either email me back or give me a call on 01844 342933.

Take care - and Happy Christmas! Big hugs to Henry...
