hi nicko,

i watched most of it whilst it was still online, sadly I personally think the 'fix' for spinal cord damage is many years away, not to say that they aren't making huge progress with this research, what did you think?

Hi Andy, when I had my accident (motorbike) 6 plus years ago,my family looked everywhere for a cure we went to Portugal Dr Carlos Lima (google him) no hope there onto London to see another crank doctor, but now I look at any cure with total sceptisism,I have spoken to Dr Gerald Raismen he is our leading light in SCI research he told me just wait and see the research thats been done in the Reeves Inst, and I must say of all the stuff I have seen and read then this looks the way forward, you must remember that we are talking about embyonic stem cells and Bush stopped all research maintaing that it was playing at god,but then along came Obama who champians the E S T R so in answer to your question I think that you have to remain positive and I think that there is a light albeit small at the end of the tunnel.  best regards ..sorry to bang on a bit.
