Hi Am a newbie here but thought I would see if anyone could point me in the right direction,I am a T4/5 para of some 6 years now,and after the last 12 weeks of utter and total depression brought on by my local infirmary and my GP just not seeming to give a dam,it would seem now that I may have chronns disease at least that what one consultant told me before saying he will refer me to another consultant but I just seem to go round in circles not getting an answer from anyone, last night in shear desperation I went to my GP and cried my eyes out very embarrassing but I feel so very low,the problem is that I don't know what to do next I just get pushed back and further back,if anyone has been in my position what did you do to get things moving who can you talk to..I just don't know...thank you  hope it makes a bit of sense..but I am really at my wits end...

hi nicko,

thats an awful situation to be in, i've dealt with similar issues by contacting the head of the primary care trust in my area and that got things moving for me.  Theres always writing to a local mp too which may help, but only after trying the PCT route first.

The spinal injuries association may be able to give you good advice too if you give their freefone line a ring on 0800 980 0501

hope this helps
