Anybody looking for a break, will go a long way to find a better holiday/residential care home than the one at Weld Road, in the middle of Birkdale Village, five minutes from Southport City Centre on the north-west coast. It is my understanding that Weld Road is the only holiday/residential home setup purely for spinal injuries, this was originally set up with the help of Southport Spinal Unit and now run as a charity, by the Spinal Unit Action Group (S.
