My mother (66 y.o.) who is diagnosed with C4-C6 Neurofibroma (measuring 3.3cm(CC) x 1.5cm(AP) x 1.2cm(W)) is recently suffering from incomplete tetraplegia. Before receiving the Ck treatment, none neurological deficit was diagnosed and she only complained of severe unbearable neck shoulder pain. However, about 10 days after the Ck treatment (total dose of 18Gy in 3 fractions), she started to have limbs edema followed by limbs weakness and her motor power decreased drastically within 1-2 days (though she was on dexamethasone during that time). I am very concern whether this neurological deficit is an transient or permanent disorder?
