Hey, good article. Another month & you'll be there so I hope all the training goes well. I know we've talked of batteries etc recently but what about punctures etc or have you 'solids' coz that would worry me. Any other 'single point of failure' stuff you can discuss as it's interesting to me at least.

I'm sure you've covered every possible 'worst case' but just curious. Hopefully you'll find a way of keeping us updated  Cool

Simon,

Yup, looks good 'jollop' though my current manual has solids as it's only for occasional use outside for longer distance & my power too has solids.

Though my last manual with power trike adaptor on was a titanium jobby & it had skinny (expensive/fancy) wheels on which were pump up but something like 90psi which used to keep Hev fit  Cool

cheers for the posts ....... I am doing another local paper interview on monday, and live on BBC CAMBRIDGE breakfast show on Tuesday morning yikes  Shocked Looks like my press release is working  Smiley

Re batteries , I am taking 3 the tested range (by me) is around 18-20 miles per battery so should complete each days mileage without recharge required.  We have a suppport vehicle with us and the total group size is 50ish so plenty of people to help. I also have a 350w power inverter that lets you charge batteries from a 12volt cigaret lighter source too , just in case

re tyres ..... already slimed  Smiley have used the slime from halfords on all my chair tyres and puncture free several years now.

Fundraising update:-  I have raised  / been promised nearly £5600 for REGAIN to date which has amazed me! A big thank you to those who have donated already.

I want to raise more if possible so please please foward my fundraising page to anyone you think may be able to help ..... cheers Smiley  www.justgiving.com/ridechina
