Ah dear lady. I have done by 45odd hours. So, this is my "rest" period. I am supposed to be "resting." How restful this is posting on here.

Actually...yes it IS kind of restfull......you are giving your mind a rest from concentrating on sleeping people in operating theatres.

That's correct. I dont have to think very much on here. As was proven by my posting yesterday. I am getting endless stick for not knowing a New Zealander is a Kiwi.

Calm down. Once the patient is "under" I only need to keep one eye on the machines and tell the surgeon when things are rising and falling. Most of us guys read books or do crosswords. One guy - he KNITS!!

I was worried about the knitting but he does lovely baby clothes apparently. He is not batting for the other side - he is married with 2 kids and very happy in his job. THis is just his hobby.
